Kwekwe-based seasoned artiste and former winner of the Chibuku Road to Fame competition, Ronnie Mudhindo and Orchestra Vazvamburi will provide entertainment during the talent search.

Abigail Sibanda, National Arts Council of Zimbabwe provincial arts manager for Midlands said the competitions – coordinated by the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe, were a music talent identification competition meant to allow marginalised and up-and-coming artistes to showcase their talents.

“As organisers, we provide the performing artistes with the instruments. The competition is meant to give marginalised and up-and-coming artistes an opportunity to showcase their talent. The group which will come out tops will walk away with $1,000, second group $500, and $300 for third place,” Sibanda said.
