The pageant which was run by Muzibits Face of Bulawayo Inc saw 15 contestants take to the ramp to showcase their modelling and fashion sense.

The event sought to unpack models who could recreate fashion styles by coming up with 10 different looks from one outfit.

Commenting on the win, Sibanda said it came at the right time as she is a new kid on the ramp who has her eyes set on penetrating the modelling industry.

“I’m new to modelling and this was a good opportunity for me to show the world what I have to offer. With this win, I’m confident that I’m going to penetrate the fashion industry with my fashion that’s coupled with my great personality,” the fashionista said.

People’s Choice, Dzwayiro who started modelling in 2018 said it is amazing how she has grown to be a people’s person, a characteristic which goes hand in hand with modelling.

She said she started modelling because of her passion for fashion.

“I started modelling in 2018. I joined the industry because I love fashion. I’ve been inspired by a lot of people like my best friend Khumutso Grace Nkala who is also my mentor.

“Losing in most of the pageants I’ve participated in has made me learn the dos and don’ts of the industry. The journey has been great, fun and educative,” Dzwayiro said.

CEO of Muzibits Face of Bulawayo, Yellow Muzibits said they introduced this pageant to unpack the country’s top designers, stylists and fashionastas.

“Our mission is to build and uplift the modelling industry here in Zimbabwe. In this light, we’re also organising the Miss Corona Bulawayo and Miss Corona Harare pageants,” Muzibits said.
