The names are for netball, boys’ basketball, boys’ and girls’ volleyball teams.

Nash national vice president Arthur Maphosa said he was expecting the soccer team list and the girls’ basketball list to be submitted soon.

“The heads in charge of the disciplines we are supposed to take to Namibia were involved in the Youth Games but since they have ended, I am expecting the other team lists by the end of the week as we want to secure travel documents early.

“We are ready to go and everything is going accordingly except maybe the release of team lists. We are going to camp at Northlea High School from 23-28 August. We are going without Naph representatives after the association decided to pull out,” Maphosa said yesterday.

The National Association of Primary Heads (Naph) last week confirmed that they will not participate at the Cossasa games  because most of the teachers  who are supposed to accompany the teams are conducting the national census which starts tomorrow.

Nash will not compete in both rugby and cricket as the two disciplines have just been introduced at schools.
