RAILSTARS are confident of ending the first half of the Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Darts League without losing a game when they take on Parkview Lions at Raylton tonight. The railmen who lost the championship to Archers last season have been on fire and are at the top of the table with 14 points from 14 outings with the defending champions second and  are trailing by a point.

Railstars’ captain Charles Widzise said they are ready for mid-table placed Parkview Lions.

“A lot is at stake in today’s showdown and my guys are prepared for the game. Everyone is charged up so there is no room for failure. As Railstars we are looking forward to consolidating our position and go into the second round with maximum points. We cannot afford any slip up because Archers are breathing fire and want to topple us so we cannot take this game lightly,” Widzisa said.

Railstars go into the match oozing with confidence following their 21-15 win over Wise Waters while Parkview Lions are still smarting from a 9-30 defeat to reigning champions Archers.

Meanwhile, Archers will have an easy game as they play host to bottom placed Bellevue and are tipped to have an easy run.
