REGISTRATION has opened for the Zambezi Cycle Challenge scheduled for July 10-12 next year.

The Zambezi Cycle Challenge is an annual three-day event aimed at raising funds for conservation efforts in Victoria Falls and its surroundings.

The minimum age for cyclists is 16 years and maximum 70 years unless permission has been granted by a medical practitioner and event organisers.

Cyclists must have completed at least one mountain bike event in the past nine months, which covered a minimum of 70km.

Registration is online at www.zambezicyclechallenge.com.

The event will cover a distance of between 60km and 80km on each of the three days.

The 2019 edition of the competition was cancelled due to economic challenges.
