So popular is Vanessa or simply “Queen Vee” that she has had to open a new account on the social network to accommodate more friends.
“For those I can’t add as friends due to the 5 000 friends limit pliz (please) go like my pages “vanessa sibanda” and new one “Queen Vee” . . . thanks much Vee-luv!” she posted on her wall.
With this kind of support Queen Vee has definitely got her groove back.
This was hardly surprising especially coming hot on the heels of her clinching second runner-up in the Top Model contest held in Germany last month.
The vivacious teetotaler is full of praise for the Lord for blessing her and is over the moon.
“God is amazing, it doesn’t stop blazing,” she said.
Besides being happy about her successes, she also announced the release of her new video of the song “Hey Lover” which is receiving heavy rotation on most satellite music channels available on DStv.
“Just saw my video ‘Hey Lover’ by ‘Queen Vanessa’ ft Buffalo Souljah on MTV Base wow, so it’s official both Channel O and MTV Base (are) now playing my music video. God is Love. Amen!” she said.
Queen Vee is seen by many of her fans as an ambitious woman enjoying the fruits of her hard work.
Ever since she handed over the Miss Zimbabwe crown, she has gone from strength to strength.
Already she is making waves in the cut-throat industry Down South where she is living it up, living single and driving some of the top-of-the range cars other models only dream of.
The last time she was in Harare she was spotted rolling in a AMG CLK Mercedes-Benz with personalised plates, leaving her fans gaping.
Besides modelling, Queen Vee who has several modelling titles up her sleeves, has since ventured into music, which she says is her biggest passion
She has collaborated with the likes of SoulBone, Buffalo Souljah and Da Les, a member of the famed South African outfit called Jozi.
Word doing the rounds is that Queen Vee has set her sights on setting up businesses in fashion and music Down South.
