A third group of students who were last year awarded placements under the Presidential Scholarship Programme are expected to leave Zimbabwe for South Africa on Sunday.
The students will be going to Witwatersrand, Monash and Durban University of Technology.
In a statement yesterday, the programme’s executive director Cde Chris Mushohwe said the students should be accompanied by their parents/guardians who will sign bonding agreements at the boarding point outside Compensation House in Harare.
Cde Mushohwe said the students must bring their original Ordinary and Advanced Level certificates, birth certificates and national identification particulars.
“They should bring original letters of acceptance accompanied by a photocopy of the          letter.
“Students who fail to turn up or are not ready to go will meet their own transport costs later,” he said.
About 1 500 students benefit from the Presidential Scholarship Programme every year.
