Innocent Kurira, Sports Reporter
A VOLLEYBALL fiesta is on the cards at Milton High School with 12 Bulawayo Volleyball Association’s league matches to be played today.

Spartans have been dominant in the league.  They lead the rooster in both the men and women categories.

In the men’s division Spartans, are yet to taste defeat in the league, having accumulated 18 points from the six games. Spartans will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten streak when they play ZRP Raiders in their first game of the day before rounding up with a tie against struggling Luveve High School.

Winless Luveve anchor the five-team table. Besides a tough encounter against Spartans, Luveve will have to be at their best to beat Unit Fairbridge (UFB) and Hurricanes in their other fixtures.

A thriller is expected in the women’s category when leaders Spartans battle it out against second placed ZRP Raiders. Just like their male counterparts, Spartans have amassed 18 points from six games.

ZRP Raiders trail Spartans by three points and will be out to hand the leaders their first defeat of the season.
