With just a month left for Valentine’s Day, a day when lovers express their affection with greetings and gifts, artistes have begun releasing love songs to hype the day.

First was Vimbai Zimuto who released a saucy music video of a love track titled Handigone on YouTube. The video which features renowned actor Leroy Gopal, was released on Wednesday and definitely got people in the mood as it captured how lovers cannot live without each other through its scenes that were shot in Harare.

Still in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, Gwanda afro-house musician Zhezhingtonz has collaborated with internationally-acclaimed actress Mbo Mahocs and Fish F Ndaramu for a love song.

The afro-pop song titled Uthando Lwami is being produced at Shinkasi Records and X Studios and is set to be released on Valentine’s Day.

Zhezhingtonz said music lovers should expect a banger that will definitely lead them to the hands of their loved ones.

He thanked Mbo for agreeing to be part of the project saying she added value.

“In November last year, I met Mbo to discuss the project that I was working on with Fish F Ndaramu. She agreed to work with us and she delivered. I can’t wait for people to enjoy this piece of work,” said Zhezhingtonz. – @mthabisi_mthire.
