BOSSO dented Maison Nic’s chances of winning the Bulawayo Metropolitan Darts League by beating them 22-17 in Nketa on Wednesday. Maison Nic had gone into the midweek match hoping to keep the pressure on leaders Railstars, but their loss allowed the railway men to open a one point lead over the Nketa-based side.

Railstars beat ZRP Bulawayo 30-9 to move to 15 points while Maison Nic remain rooted on 14 points from 16 games. Bosso also remained on sixth spot despite the victory.

Bosso player Lethukuthula Nkomo said although they have no chance of winning the championship, his side will play their best, particularly against defending champions Archers, and Railstars.

“Chances of us winning the championship have been destroyed by our performance, but we’re not giving up playing well because of that. We’ll put in a good fight and prepare for every game by maintaining a winning spirit against every team we play,” said Nkomo.
