Jubie Holland’s establishment a must visit

AT first glance, one is sure to think that the establishment is one of your ordinary ones.

“Don’t judge the book by its cover” is not just a nifty adage but Adrian Jubie Holland’s “Something Inside” is typical of dynamites and their packaging.

Nestled at the heart of Bulawayo’s eastern suburb of Burnside is a place where one luxuriates and enjoys nature’s verdure and whatever man can create.

Saturday Leisure’s first visit to the place was for a different reason, but if fate is anything to go by, that visit might as well qualify to be classified under that category.

Jubie Holland has used his personal space for the enrichment of other people’s lives through his benevolent work.

“My father used to always help people wherever he could so frequently, I invite members of the public to set-up their vending stalls in my space so as to do my part in being the change that I want to see in the world, especially now that Covid-19 has shredded people’s livelihoods to pieces,” said Jubie.

The apple does not fall far away from the tree indeed and Jubie attributes his philanthropic character to his father.
Apart from Jubie obviously being the person that groomed Daelcom to being one of the most sought-after songwriters internationally, his ability to change the ordinary to the extraordinary and his impeccable taste for arts and hospitality is undisputed.

Five years in the making, Something Inside has seen significant and insurmountable changes to it. What was once a bushy, virgin land filled with nothing but grass, figs and shrubs has now risen to become a place where everyone finds something inside.

Not only is it spacious, but this is also an all-inclusive establishment where family can enjoy a plethora of activities including aquatic games in the swimming pool, a netball and a five-a-side pitch, tug of war, live musical performances as well as some braaied meat.

North east of the yard at 13 Sterling Drive stands an aquatic haven where ducks swim and sheep bleat.

Avid movie lovers will surely have to consider trying out Something Inside and the same goes for especially karaoke session lovers too.

“With Something Inside, everyone is spoilt for choice. Be it a fun, zumba, sports or church day, we can set it up for you,” relayed Jubie.

Together with his wife Althea, Adrian Jubie Holland is putting together a haven for everyone who needs to feel the cool breeze.

Those of you who love music would be glad to find out that Daelcom’s acoustic rendition of his hit song Hot Topic was shot under the floodlights of Something Inside when he touched down last year.

Recently, the place successfully played host to musician Da_Kudu’s debut album launch and also a summer splash event to help people relax and recharge their batteries amid the huffs and puffs of life. — @eMKlass_49
