ZIFA Mat North Division 2A league pacesetters Hotspurs Leopards will want to quickly dust themselves up from last weekend’s setback of being mauled by a fired up Nengasha Stars when they welcome Classic Luyando at Raylton ground in Dete today.

Leopards have 24 points from 12 games and lead by a mere point and will be fully aware that any further slip up will hand the initiative to second placed Blackrock who seem to have an easy task at Sports Pavilion against Flying Elephants from Victoria Falls.

When Leopards stumbled last week, Blackrock had to count themselves lucky to escape with a point at home in a 1-1 draw against a rampant Trumus Warriors.

Dark horses Hwange Reserves will hope to take advantage of third placed army side Moto Moto’s inactivity due to work commitments.

They play away to Iwisa Sparrows at Ngotsheni ground today in a difficult encounter.

In other matches today, Ingagula will have to be at their best to stop an inspired Nengasha Stars at Chakona Stadium while Lukosi Pirates are expected to reap maximum points against Shumba Stars at Lukosi ground.

Tomorrow, an exciting match is in store when youthful sides OT Lions Academy and Baobab Rovers clash at Lwendulu old ground.

In the Binga 2B league, it will be a bumper action today when leaders Lunda FC play against new side Saba FC at their Saba ground while Muchesu Bombers meet Sowa FC at Muchesu primary ground.

Lubanda and Mangani clash at Lubanda while Siavwandu FC complete the weekend action against Kamativi at Siavwandu ground.
