After expanding the first season into two seasons, the viewership on Netflix increased and resulted in the renewing for another two seasons and it became even more popular.

The story of Money Heist revolves around elaborate heists orchestrated by the Professor, who steals money from banks and has a code not to harm anyone in the process.

Before the Professor was involved in any heists, the idea to attempt them came from his father.

The Professor’s father was a criminal who told him about his plan for the perfect heist, which became the inspiration for the Royal Mint of Spain heist years later.

Netflix will surpass 200 million subscribers at the end of 2021. After a three-part Stranger Things series, Money Heist became one of the most-watched on Netflix. Had Money Heist been a Hollywood production it was going to be more popular than the Super Bowl which is the most viewed show.

The big epic, Game of Thrones had 17,4 million views on their finale and Money Heist had a whopping 65 million worldwide and this will increase on the December 3, 2021 for the finale.
