NetOne reviews OneFusion

STATE-owned telecommunications company, NetOne, has reviewed its OneFusion package and data tariffs effective 1 November as a way of giving its customers value for money.

The telecommunications company said it noted the call from its customers to extend the validity for the $5 and $10 packages from 21 days to 30 days.

“We have reviewed our OneFusion and Data bundle tariffs effective 1 November.

“We have also heeded your call to extend validity from 21 days to 30 days for the $5 and $10 packages as we continue to give you unbeatable value always,” said NetOne in a notice.

In February this year, NetOne, which is the second largest mobile phone operator with about 5,5 million subscribers, was fiercely criticised by subscribers on social media platforms for the “disappearing” data bundles and voice airtime.

The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) at that time directed NetOne to compensate all subscribers who lost airtime on the OneFusion package.

Potraz is on record as saying the cost of data in country should be made affordable and this was critical in facilitating efforts to bring down the cost of goods and services.
