BULAWAYO king of Kwaito PoZee continues to churn out hits as his latest track, Abantwana Base Zim Zim is ruling the roost on the Bulawayo Top 10 Charts show on ZiFM.
The chart show, which runs every Saturday on Zi Saturday Your Link to the City of Kings and Queens from 6pm to 9pm, is hosted by Gibson Ncube, a local radio DJ and is dedicated at promoting Bulawayo music.

In an interview yesterday, PoZee said the show had helped Bulawayo artistes to get exposure on a national platform. “There are new artistes that I didn’t know were from Bulawayo, but because of the show, we have been exposed to each other.”-

PoZee said the platform to shine as artistes was long overdue.
“I think it is a great platform, and to actually come up with it was a great idea. We as Bulawayo artistes have longed for this for a long time,” he said.

Ncube said the top 10 charts had been growing steadily from their inception in February. He said Bulawayo artistes had in the past done well and only needed a platform to expose their talent.

“In the 10 weeks I’ve been on ZiFM, I’ve profiled more than 30 artists and played more than 60 songs from Bulawayo, which is a lot more than any radio presenter has done on any national radio station at any level.

“If I put into consideration that my show is only once a week, I’ve probably played way more music from our region than any other radio station has played in the same amount of time I’ve been at ZiFM,” Ncube said.

He said the Top 10 charts programme would be there as long as it is supported by the people of Bulawayo.
