THE Castle Lager Premier Soccer League will run a two-day induction workshop for the newly promoted teams.
It starts in Harare tomorrow and runs up to Friday and will cover five key topics all meant to equip the new clubs with the requisite skills and expectations of the Premiership.

Whawha from the Zifa Central League, Flame Lily from Northern League, Dongo Sawmills from the Eastern Region and Tsholotsho FC from the Southern Region are each expected to send two representatives to the induction indaba.

ZPC Kariba and Chapungu FC were also invited.

“The workshop will last two days. The main aim is to induct the new comers into our league,” said the Premier Soccer League chief executive officer Kennedy Ndebele.

He said that the gathering will cover five key topics, management of competitions, fan development, club management, communication as well as an introduction into sports medicine.

“Edward Chagonda will be the resource person in the sports medicine topic.  We’re yet to finalise other resource persons for the other topics,” said the Premier Soccer League’s head of secretariat.

Ndebele said they invited ZPC Kariba and Chapungu after they failed to hold a similar workshop last season due to time constraints.
