Top artistes from South Africa and Zimbabwe are billed to perform at the event that is set to shut down the Sanganai/Hlanganani World Tourism Expo in style.

In its 15th edition, the three-day tourism expo kicks off on Thursday at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) with the gig set to take place at the ZITF main arena.

Artistes who include Imali Eningi hit-maker Big Zulu, Big Flexa hit-maker Costa Tich, Umuzi eSandton hit-maker Lwa Ndlunkulu and Inkabi Nation will be coming down from South Africa for the event.

Zimbabwe will be well represented by artistes from the host city – Djembe Monks, Boy Nino, Msiz’kay, Fab G UmshanakaGogo, Vinner, and Charleston Choir. Dancehall star, Killer T has also been roped in.

As it will be a family fun day, organisers have said the event will start at midday to afford youngsters a chance to have a feel of the expo that will attract tourism players from numerous corners of the world.

One of the organisers of the show, 3D Events director Mduduzi “Mdu” Mdlongwa said preparations are at an advanced stage.

“Preparations for the event that we’re hosting in conjunction with the Sanganai/Hlanganani Expo are at an advanced stage. We’ve roped in different artistes and genres so that we have a good musical show. We’re excited and can’t wait to present the show,” said Mdu.

He urged people to come out in their numbers for the event.
“We’re asking the people of Bulawayo and those all over Zimbabwe to come out as families and enjoy as it’s going to be a great family outing.” – @mthabisi_mthire
