The seasoned singer lined up a series of shows that she is embarking on and has since done Harare and Bulawayo.

She will play at The River Brew tonight and has planned to meet local artistes and help them build their careers.

“Preparations for the Friday show are going well and this is the last leg in part of the three concerts.

We have done in Harare and Bulawayo and now we close off this series in Victoria Falls.

“I’m also doing mentorship sessions with local artistes and hope to meet a few over the weekend.

“The meeting is just to share a few lessons I have put together from my journey and being mentored by other greats,” said Tari.

She will be travelling with a band to back her up and are set to arrive in Victoria Falls this morning.

Victoria Falls

The last time she played in Victoria Falls at the same venue the singer was solo and she curtain-raised for a show by locally based Flying Bantu.

She said she wants to create a network with artistes.

“Since I moved to Bulawayo I realised that I have a lot of time and information.

So wherever I go I link up with artistes who have potential to grow and this is what I want to do when I come to Victoria Falls,” she said.

Since the start of the week she has been linking up with some artistes.

She will meet the artistes this weekend at a venue to be communicated.

Tari has been putting polished shows during her concert the recent being at the Bulawayo Theatre.

Some of her songs include Chipo Changu, Usadaro, Surrender and she also does renditions of hits by others. – @ncubeleon
