Response to “Magaya apologises for HIV cure claim”.

I am scared, very scared. The population of Zimbabwe over the years has shown serious gullibility.

One would recall the hype over the “fungus” juice of the 90s, the zvihuta in early 2000s.

We have seen how many have gone to sea believing Chamisa will bring $15 billion from Donald Trump and bullet trains, Wi-Fi in rural areas etc.

Our population is now prone to believing anything and everything, we are going towards being a suicidal nation.

Yet we are amongst the most “literate” nations in Africa! — Masaisai

India has the third largest HIV/Aids population on the planet, the government is still spending millions per year on antiretroviral and HIV/Aids clinical trials.

A population of 2.1 million is known to be living with the virus and a staggering 70 000 Indians are losing their lives to HIV/Aids per year.

Clinical trials are highly regulated in India and any clinical trials must be properly registered with authorities in India and any trials held in that country must benefit the citizens of that country.

Now the question is why would Indians help Magaya find a cheaper cure for HIV but still continue to use expensive antiretroviral.
