The company, now in its fifth year, is the exclusive distributor of Mindray (China) medical laboratory instruments and reagents in the country.
In an effort to make better and affordable healthcare solutions more accessible to all, Medirite Distribution acquired exclusive rights to distribute and service Mindray IVD products in Zimbabwe in late 2008.
These products cover chemistry and haematology analysers, original reagents, controls and calibrators as well as consumables. Medirite Distribution has managed to penetrate both the private and public health laboratories throughout the whole country.
To date, Medirite Distribution has installed over 70 pieces of equipment from Mindray, China, with major clients being PSMI Clinical Laboratories, Chitungwiza Central Hospital, Masvingo Provincial Hospital, Ngomahuru Hospital, Zimbabwe National Army, Zimbabwe Prison Services, Airforce of Zimbabwe, Infinite Health and a number of private medical laboratories.
The equipment has been installed in all major cities and towns throughout the country.
The equipment supplied from Mindray of China is state-of- the-art latest technology that is affordable and reasonably priced. Testimonies from current users confirm the high standards and very low cost of reagents, which has transformed and revolutionised medical laboratory processes in Zimbabwe.
Mindray is currently exporting equipment and reagents to over 205 countries worldwide including Zimbabwe and the company has continued to gain market share over established traditional players.
In Southern Africa, Zimbabwe is one of the fastest growing markets for Mindray products.
With a strong technical support, Medirite Distribution has managed to grow the Mindray brand on the Zimbabwean market thereby taking the number one spot in terms of annual installations and sales.
