JAH Prayzah will give Bulawayo revellers an early Christmas treat when he stages yet another show in the city next month.

Riding high on the success of his Jerusarema album which carries hits – Eriza and Chinamira, Jah Prayzah is one of the most sought after artistes in the country.

He returns to the Bulawayo Amphitheatre on December 12 and will be supported by rapper – Cal_Vin, Guluva 7 and Mzoe 7. Last month, Jah Prayzah was in the city where he performed at a sold out show at the Amphitheatre.

“The show is like a thank you to fans in Bulawayo for their continuous support as they came out in numbers last time we were there. Some fans failed to get into the venue and we hope they’ll be the first ones this time,” Jah Prayzaha’s manager, Keen Mushapaidze said.

He said Jah Prayzah, who recently concluded his national tour with a performance in Chitungwiza last week, had a hectic festive season schedule that will see him performing across the country again.

“The national tour was a huge success as we recorded high turn ups at all venues in Bulawayo, Kariba, Masvingo, Beitbridge, Harare and Chitungwiza.

“The festive season will be very busy as we’ve many shows around the country,” said Mushapaidze.

He said they had added Mzoe 7 and Cal_Vin to the show so as to spice up the line up.

“Jah Prayzah’s music is contemporary so each time we perform out of Harare, we try by all means to have a diverse line up so as to make the show interesting. We roped in Bulawayo sensation Cal_Vin and afro-pop musician Mzoe 7 to spice up. We’re confident they’ll bring in a new flavour and a whole different dimension which will keep show goers on their feet.”

With a music video of one of Jah Prayzah’s hit songs, Kumbumura Mhute, sitting on position three on DStv’s Zambezi Magic’ Zim Top 10 chart show, the artiste says he will be premiering the Jerusarema DVD at Ster Kinekor cinemas in Harare next month. The DVD is set to be submitted to

DStv for consideration of airplay on their various channels including Channel O, MTV Base and Zambezi Magic.

The premiere on December 16 is part of the artiste’s efforts to go international, differentiating his works from other musicians.

“The DVD premiere is a special Christmas gift to our fans hence our decision to unveil it in style. This will be our first time to launch a DVD at cinemas and this is simply because our aim is to take the Jah Prayzah brand to greater heights,” Mushapaidze said.
