HIGHLANDERS are set to face TelOne in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Bata Stadium in Gweru this afternoon.

Bosso are in good spirits after their recent 1-0 win over Simba Bhora on Good Friday, with a goal from midfielder Melikhaya Ncube. TelOne, who drew against Greenfuel, will be a challenge for Highlanders.

Coach Kelvin Kaindu believes the team is improving and hopes for a positive outcome in the upcoming match.

“Our victory against Simba Bhora gives us a bit of hope to try and catch up with teams that are on top. I always say it’s a game that is gone, we are looking forward to the next game. We hope we will get the best out of them,” said Kaindu.

“It has not been easy. We have been trying to push in our sessions. We are definitely getting something positive.”

Bosso will be banking on Ncube, lanky Andrew Mbeba, combative Peter Muduhwa and goalkeeper Ariel Sibanda among others.

Hwange and Simba Bhora will also face off at Wadzanai Stadium. Chipangano are smarting from a 0-2 home defeat to Bulawayo Chiefs.

Ngezi Platinum Stars take on last season’s runners-up Manica Diamonds at Baobab Stadium, while Dynamos will play Bikita Minerals at Sakubva Stadium in Mutare. – @FungaiMuderere
