ZIFA Southern Region Division One Soccer League championship favourites Bulawayo Chiefs lock horns with Tsholotsho FC in Tsholotsho tomorrow. Bulawayo Chiefs are in impressive form in their quest for Premier League promotion with one loss and a draw after 13 games this season.

They are set to collect maximum points on the road tomorrow afternoon, yet Tsholotsho FC are ready to disappoint them.

In their last game Tsholotsholo FC won over Ntabazinduna in a much needed morale booster before facing log leaders.

Banking on the guidance of former Highlanders mentor and former national team coach Rahman “Rush” Gumbo, Bulawayo Chiefs aim to collect maximum points after they thrashed New West City 4-1 on their last game.

Tsholotsho FC coach Lizwe Sweswe said the pressure is on the pacesetters Bulawayo Chiefs, as they are the team to beat.

Sweswe said his side is working hard and there are no injuries in his team, and there are ready to disappoint the log leaders. “We are working hard and no one is injured so I have my full squad and we believe that both teams are even, so we are ready to face them.

“The pressure is on them, as they will want to prove that they are the best, so I can’t say we can beat them but I will say the game will do the talking,” said Sweswe.

However Bulawayo Chiefs gaffer Gumbo was not available for comment concerning their encounter with the Tsholotsho FC.

Chiefs are pinning their hopes on some of their best players such skipper Lindelani “Vice” Ncube and striker Gabriel Nyoni to emerge victorious in Tsholotsho.

In other matches on Saturday, in an early kick off  Bantu Rovers will be looking to bounce back from defeat they suffered at the hands of “Young Chipangano” Hwange Juniors, when they take on Ajax Hot Spurs at Luveve Stadium.

New West City date Rufaro Rovers, while Quelaton take on ZPC Hwange and Black Boots play Hwange Juniors and Zimbabwe Saints lock horns with Mkhosana.
