Cassper with Boity during happy times

Rapper, Cassper Nyovest has voiced his disappointment about his split with Boity Thulo through the release of an emotional track. In the new song titled Super Ex/Power Couple, Cassper sings his heart out while giving his version of the breakup cover story. He raps: “Man I just broke up with my girlfriend/She used to mean the world/Maybe I’m just committed to the music, maybe I’m stupid, too much of a cool kid.”

He goes on lamenting: “What if she finds another rap and they fall in love with each other and live happily forever/Sometimes I find myself feeling lonely/Thinking what if she really was my soulmate.”

In the second verse Cassper says he is disappointed that Boity went to the press with news of their split before letting him know about it. Boity had been quoted in a True Love magazine article saying: “We broke up in December and I cried about it, got angry about it and I tried to convince myself that it’s okay. Then eventually you’re just like, life actually continues.”

In response to her action, Cassper raps: “You ain’t really have to go to the papers behind my back and only tell me when the cover came out/Girl, that was whack/But it’s cool I’m not trying to highlight all the negatives/Our love was real and I don’t want to discredit it.

“You got along with my mom and all my relatives. My dad said you the one before we ended it. He kept telling me to fight for you‚ but that don’t matter now. You chose to make it official‚ hope you feel better now.”

He also reminisces the good times he shared with Boity. “All I have are these memories of how we used to make love and how we used to promise each other we’d never break-up.”

Things get extra lit in the last verses of the song when he fires shots at his former girlfriend – Amanda du-Pont. “It’s gonna be another hard to move on, at least you never cheated like Miss du-Pont.” – Channel24/TimesLive/Showbiz Reporter.
