RELEGATION-threatened Motor Action failed to utilise the few chances that came their way as they were restricted by Chicken Inn at Motor Action Sports Club yesterday. The Mighty Bulls had the better chances in the game but could not make use of the opportunities that came their way especially in the first half in which Walter Musona came agonisingly close.

Musona and strike partner Emmanuel Mandiranga fluffed several chances as Motor Action dominated much of the exchanges.
It was not until the 30th minute when Chicken Inn had their meaningful attack when former Mighty Bulls talisman Clemence Matawu reacted quickly to a Collen Kwaramba pass but the former Soccer Star of the Year delayed in pulling the trigger.

Big Chiken Inn centre back Felix Chindugwe needlessly conceded a free-kick in the 41 minute but the effort from Wisdom Mtasa did little to trouble Nyoni.

The best chance of the game came in the 52nd minute when Motor Action won a free-kick from just outside the box which Passmore Bernard took and Nyoni had to summon his reflexes to parry the ball to safety.

Motor Action coach Prince Matore was happy with the performance of his players.
Matore believes they still have a chance to survive relegation despite anchoring the log standings.

Chicken Inn coach Mandla Mpofu was not amused by the performance of his midfielders and also complained that the hard and bumpy pitch at Motor Action Sports Club had not helped matters for them.
