BULAWAYO accapella gospel group Family Voices, alongside cultural group Siyaya Arts, will today headline the Mazoe Heritage Promotion Mid-Term Draw to be held at the Large City Hall Car Park.
The event will be held from 9AM till 3PM.
The draw is held as part of celebrations to mark 84 years since the production of Mazoe Orange Crush started in 1930 in Bulawayo.
In an interview yesterday, Family Voices spokesperson, Simon Mambazo said the group that is known for singing gospel, was breaking into the mainstream music industry.

“We are a gospel group but such functions expose us as a group. We are taking a leaf from the Tuku show last year,” he said.
Mambazo promised fans new songs from the group’s forthcoming album.

“In six weeks time, we are going to record an album. On the day of the draw we shall be singing some of the tracks from the forthcoming album.

Coca-Cola spokesperson Vee Chibanda said Mazoe products were enjoyed by all age groups and people from all walks of life.
“The national promotion was launched to commemorate the well-documented legacy of Mazoe and to reward consumers from all walks of life and all age groups,” she said.

The Mazoe Heritage Promotion Mid-Term Draw will see lucky winners drive away in two brand new Nissan PR pick-up trucks; 79 Mazoe drinkers will walk away with cash prizes and 30 others will win vouchers.
