MUSICIAN, Khulekani ‘Khuxxman’ Bethule, seems to be compensating for his long absence on the music scene as he has come up with a promising single. The single, which is off his forthcoming album, features hip-hop artistes Mcheznana and Zibozizodwa. It is a laid back love song dedicated to a girl Yolanda. The track is a fusion of kwaito and afro fusion.

Khuxxman said just like the hit Vumelan Sangoma, Yolanda was an experimental track being released to check how it would do on the local market. He said he was impressed with the feedback he was getting so far.

“I am working on an album which will be released later this year. We will release singles that we will upload on websites such as itunes so that they can be sold online,” said Khuxxman.

The 38-year old musician, who has recorded and produced music for a number of artistes in Bulawayo, said he would soon be working on a DVD if the track Yolanda is well received like Vumelan Sangoma. Vumelan Sangoma was a celebration of Ndebele folk music.

Khuxxman bounced back to the music industry last year with the release of an eight-track album titled Vumelan’ Isangoma which re-affirmed his position as one of the best young musicians to emerge from Bulawayo.

The Lovemore Majaivana inspired musician has six albums under his belt and shot to fame with the hit-track MaAfrica.
