TSHOLOTSHO FC’s title chase faces another stern test when they hit the road to face top of the table Ntabazinduna in a Zifa Southern Region Division One Soccer League tomorrow. Tsholotsho were held to a goalless draw at home by Plumtree Chiefs last week and are a point behind their weekend opponents who collected maximum points against ZPC Hwange in Ntabazinduna.

Tsholotsho FC coach Lizwe Sweswe believes the Ntabazinduna encounter is one of the six games that have a bearing on their championship quest.
“The six weeks which started with our 0-1 defeat to ZPC Hwange a fortnight ago, the goalless draw with Plumtree Chiefs and Ntabazinduna going forward are critical in our fight for the title.

“Our target is to pick at least 12 points from a possible 18 which means we have to do our best to win the game against Ntabazinduna. We just have to remain composed in all the games,” said Sweswe.

If Tsholotsho FC are to achieve their six-week target, then they have no choice but to win all their next four matches as they have lost five points from their last two games.

Ntabazinduna will not be easy customers for Tsholotsho FC as the Agent Sawu’s side has proved to be hard to beat at home.
“I think it is early days to talk about the championship because there are about 12 weeks left before the season ends and there can be twists and turns along the way. However, what we have to do is to make sure that we carry on with our feet on the ground and worry about our games.

“We mustn’t be worried about how other teams are playing as that might distract us,” Sawu said.
Black Boots who are tied on 32 points with Ntabazinduna will be home to Hwange Juniors at Unit Fairbridge.

The police force side collected maximum points at home against title contenders Technosphere who they beat 1-0 courtesy of a Tashinga Mungadzi strike.
On the other hand, Hwange Juniors’ last trip to Bulawayo was not a pleasant one as they lost 1-0 to bottom placed Old Nic Mine.

Plumtree Chiefs welcome Victoria Falls outfit Trumus at Raylton.
