FOREIGN-based Zimbabweans and fans from other countries are yearning to watch and dance to the works of musicians Mzoe 7, Chelsea Mguni and Sandra Ndebele as their first appearance lit up the United States of America.

From the onset of them being billed to perform on the bigger stage of the Zim Expo, many showed eagerness to see the talent at their disposal.

The Zimbabwean artistes were part of an array of musicians that entertained guests at the Zim Expo and Christian Fellowship International (CFI) in the United States of America, over the weekend.

The trio’s first USA performance should go a long way in them acquiring gigs on international stages as their talent, ranging from gospel to Amapiano, is something to cherish.

Commenting on the performance, gospel songstress Chelsea Mguni who shared the stage with Baba Mechanic Manyeruke said she cherished every moment.

“My performance was a great experience with the love I got from the crowd, it was very welcoming and I felt at home.

“I really felt like I’m in Zimbabwe because the people really came out in numbers to support me and they sang along to the songs. The only way to keep getting such is sticking to your craft and creating more music and content,” said Chelsea.

Sandra Ndebele said she is not going anywhere and will hold the crown of being one of the best entertainers for years to come.

“The performances were something that will always stay in their hearts and as an artiste with a career that dates over two decades, I am saying more is yet to come from me,” she said.

Mzoe 7 said they need to perform again in Dallas.

“We had the best diaspora debut, it was our first time performing in America and we had a great show/performance set rehearsed for the show.

“It was a three-piece band with a DJ being the 4th. We gave them a sterling, electrifying performance consisting of dance, live guitar and soothing vocals. I feel we have to do Dallas again because of the love people showed for us and the way they appreciated our performance,” said Mzoe 7. — @mthabisi_mthire @ SeehYvonne
