ACTION continues in the Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Darts League tonight with defending champions Archers playing host to early season title aspirants Wisewaters.
Both teams go into today’s encounter tied on 11 points, a point behind pacesetters Railstars.
Archers lead Wisewaters on the table by a superior darts difference as they have both lost once so far. Archers’ hopes will be pinned on the likes of Brian Ndlovu, Nkululeko Ncube, youngster Tafadzwa Mtomba and Albert Tawanda.

Captain Mkhululi Dube said they were not taking any team likely as they want to defend their title which is under threat from the high flying railwaymen.
Dube said the return of last season’s captain Enerst “Maphepha” Sibanda from the United Kingdom was morale booster for the squad.

Sibanda led Archers to the title last season in which they ended the season unbeaten.
“The return of Maphepha has really boosted the squad’s morale but I am banking on our national team players Tawanda and Ndlovu to shine if we are to stop Wisewaters,” he said.

Wisewaters captain Karabetsi Mleya said they are going into the encounter targeting a win and eager to surprise Archers.
“We go into every match targeting a win, there is nothing surprising about Archers. We want to win so they should expect a tough encounter,” he said.

Mleya will be banking on Leon Blumeris, Kesary Khumalo and Mer Bafana to be on top form if they are to hand Archers their second defeat of the season.
Table toppers Railstars take on struggling How Mine while Highlanders will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways when they face Bellevue.

Fixtures: Archers v Wisewaters, Highlanders v Bellevue, Maison Nic v Parkview Lion, Old Nic Mine v Zimbabwe School of Mines, Parkview Kanka v PPC Wolves, Railstars v How Mine, Unit Fairbridge v New Dawn, ZRP Bulawayo v Khami.
