THE Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) will tomorrow host a consultative meeting with the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) in Bulawayo to clarify regulatory issues related to taxation.

Organisers said close to 100 ZNCC members would attend the business indaba to express their concerns over administration of tax issues.

The forum is also expected to clarify issues around taxation of religious organisations, penalties and interest rate for late payment caused by declining business due to the liquidity crunch.

“We appreciate the pivotal role ZIMRA plays to the national fiscus. As such we feel it apt that we facilitate a platform for meaningful dialogue with its stakeholders in a bid to promote camaraderie and compliance amongst the business public, while taking cognisance of their concerns regarding the regulatory authority,” said ZNCC Bulawayo marketing manager, Velile Dube, said in a statement.

The event will be held at a city hotel between 3-5PM.
