Dhewa to seek TB Joshua’ s hand

His cancerous tumours have resurfaced.

Tongai, known by his fans as Dhewa, is expected to fly out in the next two weeks.
Dhewa was a few years ago diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a type of cancer, for which he has been receiving treatment in Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Although he has been undergoing chemotherapy, Dhewa recently revealed that his tumors were resurfacing, despite the treatment that he has been receiving.

“I will be going to Nigeria for spiritual healing sessions with TB Joshua. There are people that I will be going with. However, I am not at liberty to disclose who I will be going with and when,” said Dhewa in a telephone interview.

He said he was quite optimistic that his condition would improve.

“I might not be perfect, but I am a man of faith. I am looking up to God for my healing, and my visit to TB Joshua therefore does not come as a surprise,” he said.

Despite his condition, Dhewa has remained positive about his condition, a unique characteristic that is clearly displayed in a song from his new album “Ndinobvuma”.
In the song, Tongai appeals to God to make him stay focused after the painful reality that came after he was diagnosed with cancer. And true to that he recently ventured into some business projects and opened retail shops and a clothing line, something which he says was inspired by his condition.

“My condition has really inspired me to change the way I look at life.

“I realise that I need to plan about the future and I am happy to say that I have accomplished so many things in six months that could have taken me 10 years, had I not fallen sick,” he was recently quoted as saying.
Dhewa (42) says he would want to retire at 50, if God affords him an opportunity to live up to that age.
