Nathaniel Simon is alleged to have choked his victim into unconsciousness before using a razor to slash the words into her body at their trailer home in Albion, Washington.
The 46-year-old victim, who has not been named, said she woke up to find her shirt covered in blood and the words scrawled across her chest.
Even after she managed to escape the woman was so terrified of her alleged attacker that she did not tell anyone for several days.
It was only after her family saw the words scarred across her chest that they went to police.
Simon was arrested on charges of assault, making death threats and unlawful imprisonment.
The woman told police her ordeal began after 54-year-old Simon punched her in the chest and dragged her into the trailer they shared.
She said he used his hands to choke her into unconsciousness.
When she came to her shirt was covered in blood and Simon’s message was visible on her skin.
The woman said Simon threatened to kill her if she told authorities.
After being held captive for three days, during which time she claims she was beaten, she was able to escape. Her injuries were not life threatening and she was released from hospital after treatment.
Simon is being held on US$500 000 bond. – Daily Mail.
