RISING South Africa-based outfit GPB (Get Paper Boy) has released a video for its single Just Say (Still in Love). The track is already making waves in South Africa on Yfm, Metro fm, and Atlanta’s radio V-106 and has been sitting on number 3 in the Top 10. It is also doing rounds in Africa, Europe and America. The video was shot in South Africa and is expected to be played on music channels, Channel O, Trace and Mtv Base — who have reportedly agreed to play it.

GPB comprises Bulawayo-born duo Sean “Don” Makomichi and Tyrone “Rudeboi T” Soutter.
Speaking from their South Africa base, Makomichi said they were working on collaborating with an international artiste.

“We are in negotiations with some international artiste whom we will not reveal yet. Once we seal the deal, we will reveal the artiste,” said Don.
GPB will be in Zimbabwe for shows later on in the year. They will host their annual Bulawayo Paper Boy Festival in the city.

“We will be doing international tours in a few months. We are wrapping up our plans and preparations for the tour. These tours will be done to market “Paper Boy Films” and our lined up events in Zimbabwe,” he said.

GPB this year signed their first recording and management deal with one of South Africa’s leisure and entertainment moguls, Leon Starr, owner of Groove Records.
GPB are set to release their debut album Paper Boy Business, which will be a fusion of dancehall, R’n’B and hip-hop. The group is working on the album with Nadia Batson in Trinidad and Marc Brunnel, a dancehall artiste based in Canada.

The duo made a grand entry onto the hip-hop scene on a high note, aggressively hustling for the limelight with their singles Buk it Up, Gonna be there and I just might.

They are slowly making a name for themselves on the regional scene as their music videos are receiving a lot of airplay on Channel O and MTV.
