A BULAWAYO woman woke up recently to find a boy, 17, in her matrimonial bed busy fondling her around 10PM.
The woman, 32, of Hyde Park suburb narrated her ordeal before Western Commonage magistrate Themba Chimiso yesterday.
“I was sleeping alone while my husband was at the bar when I felt someone creeping into my bed. At first I thought it was my husband but then remembered he was not around. The person started fondling me and when I woke up to discover it was a boy,” she said.

Prosecuting, Kingstone Mkanganwi said the juvenile gained entry into the couple’s bedroom around 10PM and started fondling her without consent. The door to the room was not locked.

“On May 20 at night, the juvenile entered into her room without consent and fondled her whilst her husband was not around,” said Mkanganwi.
The lad denied the charge of unlawful entry and indecent assault.

“I did not commit this offence. She could have mistaken me for someone because she only saw my clothes. How could she have seen my face when it was dark and also there was no electricity as she said?” said the boy.

He is out of custody and his trial continues on June 3.
