SOUTH Africa-based gospel singer Eric Moyo will grace Vocal Ex’s debut album launch in Bulawayo next month.

Moyo, who sings with Joyous Celebration choir, will be a guest singer alongside up-and-coming gospel groups – Dumisa, Tehiillah Praise, Sons of the Prophet (FIG) and Wenyasha.

The album – I Live to Worship (Ebenezer) – will be launched at Word of Life International Church auditorium on June 4.

Admission is $5.

Gospel artiste Tawanda Denga and socialite Mbo Mahocs will co-host the event.

Vocal Ex director, Mdlaziba said the launch would be a celebration of the group’s journey.

“The launch is about the story of our journey hence the title Ebenezer, which means this is how far the Lord has taken us,” said Mdlaziba.

“Our song selection for the launch comprises of music which was written by Vocal Ex with some renditions which will be a personal interpretation of our spiritual journey and walk with God expressed in song.”

After the launch, the group plans to tour the country promoting their first DVD title, Sithi Uyingcwele.
