CELEBRATED actress Pretty Xaba, 49, who succumbed to cancer last Saturday at BLK Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi, India, will be buried this Saturday morning at the family farm in Msengezi. Her body, which left India yesterday and was expected in Harare on the same day, will now arrive tonight. Her sister-in-law, Ruth Xaba said her body would lie in state at Nyaradzo Funeral Parlour before departing for the rural areas tomorrow.

“The body left India at 4AM today (yesterday) and will arrive tomorrow (today). We will leave for the family farm in Msengezi on Friday afternoon where she will be buried,” Xaba said.

She said a bus would be provided by the funeral parlour for those who want to attend the burial.

“A bus will be provided for those who want to go with us to the farm on Friday. We may hire another bus that will leave on Saturday at 7AM if there are a lot of people,” Xaba said.

A church service will be conducted in Eastlea – where mourners are gathered – by Prophetic Healing Deliverance Ministries before the body departs for the rural areas.
