Zim Covid-19 cases top 500

TWENTY-THREE more people have tested positive to Covid-19 bringing the total number of people infected in Zimbabwe to 512.

According to the Ministry of Health and Child Care, 21 of the new cases are returnees from South Africa and the other two are local transmissions.

“As at June 22, 2020, Zimbabwe had 512 confirmed cases, including 64 recoveries and six deaths. Four of the cases were recorded in Bulawayo, 10 in Harare, four in Mashonaland west two in Midlands and three in Masvingo provinces,” read the statement.

Bulawayo now has  64 confirmed Covid-19 cases while Matabeleland South has 46 cases and Matabeleland North has 15 cases.
