POPULAR Zimbabwean singer Nutty O, who was one of the headline acts at the annual Zimfest Live festival in the UK early this month has become the first Zimbabwean artiste to be featured on UK-based broadcaster, Olajide Adesope’s The AfroBeats Podcast.

Adesope, who is also known as the Energy Gawd, has been one conduit for African artistes to penetrate the European market as he advocates for funding for both established and up-and-coming creatives in Africa.

On his podcast, he has interviewed the likes of Patoranking, Cassper Nyovest, AKA and other creatives and Nutty O has added his name to that list.

Nutty O, the Handipere Power hit-maker spoke to Chronicle Showbiz from the UK and said his trip there has been fulfilling.

“Coming here has been fulfilling. It feels like a gateway to my dreams and actually, all that I desire is coming to me so I thank God,” he said.

Fulfilling it must have been after he met Nigerian Afro-pop singer Iyanya and also did some radio interviews with BBC Radio 1.

Last month, Nutty O was unveiled as one of Oraimo’s brand ambassadors, joining Nigerian 2Baba (previously known as 2 Face Idibia) who was rewarded with custom-made earpods called Oraimo Freepods 2Baba. Oraimo is a global electronics company.

Back home, his #ABXTeam via his manager Diana Nheera also sealed a new deal with MCM Events to complement a list of lucrative partnerships that the Handipere Power hit-maker is a part of. – @eMKlass_49
