A potentially exciting top-of-the-table clash is on the cards between leaders Nkulumane and second-placed Entumbane in the ZRP Bulawayo Inter-Station Football League at Zulukandaba Primary School this afternoon.

“It promises to be an exciting match as the two teams are number one and two on the table. Another match that I believe will be good too is the one involving third-placed Queens Park and Magwegwe,” said the league’s vice-chairperson Fiso Siziba.

Kennedy Thebe is the chairperson of the Townsend and Butcher-sponsored league.

The league’s leading goal scorer Byton Sibanda of Nkulumane will be the player to watch and Entumbane defenders should be on high alert.

Sibanda has found the nets 17 times and his closest rival Frank Shumba of Western Commonage has scored 13 goals. Western Commonage play Hillside at Ndola.

The matches are part of the many sporting activities by members of the police force during their weekly Wednesday sports days that are used to keep the officers physically and mentally fit as they execute their policing duties.
